You guys are going to love this! In my never-ending quest to healthify and greenify our family’s personal care routine, I have finally found a company that truly delivers! Not only does this company offer products that are good-for-you and actually work, they’ve also made it their personal mission to inform and educate people about the hazards of various chemicals, preservatives, etc… that are in so many personal care products on the market. You can read all about these various chemicals on their blog, “Chemical of the Day.” There is even a search box where you can type in the chemical/ingredient you would like to learn more about!

So, without further ado, I would like to introduce you to Bubble & Bee Organic!

Bubble & Bee Organic is an organic-certified company that creates and sells a wonderful selection of personal care products, ranging from shampoo to toothpaste, to deodorant and lip balm. Their motto is, “No Bad Stuff. Ever!” Sounds great to me! You can read more about their story here.

Stephanie Greenwood, the founder and creator of Bubble & Bee Organic, was super-generous and kindly sent me their “Rude” Raspberry lotion stick, as well as two lip balms to review. I also purchased several of their famous “Pit Putty” cream deodorants to try, as well as their women’s face cream. (Hubby has tested out the more masculine fragrances, while I used the more ladylike scents.)

I am going to start with the Pit Putty cream deodorant first. I love this product!! Now, if you are looking for something anti-perspirant, because you don’t want to sweat at all, this probably won’t work for you. It doesn’t really prevent sweating, but I find that even after I have worked/played with the kids/cleaned house all day, it does a really great job at controlling odor. The packaging is simple, yet fun, and the scents are natural and light (yet effective.) The best part, though, is knowing exactly what I am putting on my body, and being confident that there is nothing toxic or harmful hidden in the product. My two favorite scents are the Orange Vanilla and the Jasmint. Hubby’s is the Super Pit Putty. 

The deodorant comes in a great little glass jar, applies very smoothly and makes your underarms feel softer and slightly silky. 

My hubby and I both thought that having to apply the deodorant with our fingers would be very bothersome, but we have both agreed that it is not an issue at all, and actually even feels a bit spa-like. We both love this product, and use it daily. If you are in the market for a natural deodorant option, I strongly encourage you to try this out!

Stephanie sent me the “Rude” Raspberry 100% Organic Lotion Stick to try because I am constantly washing my hands, and need something moisturizing that won’t wash away immediately.

The packaging is a lot like a lip balm, so no mess, and easy to apply. The stick is very solid at first, but as I rubbed it into the back of my hands, the warmth of my skin seemed to soften it slightly, and it applied perfectly. I also found that it created kind of a protective barrier on my skin, and continued to be moisturizing even after several handwashings. This product works great, is super handy to throw in a purse or backpack, and can even be used as a lip balm, or to ease chapped skin (I’ve used it lightly on the girls’ cheeks when they were dry or irritated.)

We were also able to try the “Rude” Raspberry Organic lip balms (she sent two, so the girls helped me test those!) 

The last product that I want to highlight for you is Bubble & Bee’s Certified Organic Face Cream. 

I purchased this face cream because I have really struggled to find a moisturizer that’s made with healthy, “clean” ingredients. This fit the bill in that department!

The consistency is light and airy-almost whipped-but quickly melts with the warmth of your face providing deep, intense moisture that lasts all day. I will say that this face cream should be used very sparingly-a little goes a very long way. I actually prefer to use this as my nighttime moisturizer, as it can tend to make me look a little shiny/oily for daytime use. I feel that it provides that perfect extra moisture that I need at night.

Wow! That was a lot of typing (reading, for you guys) but I am just so excited about discovering this amazing company and their wonderful, “clean” products that I just had to share with you guys!
